  3. The Future of the Internet?

  7.      As a computer consultant and programmer I am very interested in
  8.      the future of the Internet. On February 8th that future became
  9.      shrouded in doubt. The passage and signing of the
  10.      Telecommunications Act with the addition of the so-called
  11.      Computer Decency Act marks a black page in the history of the
  12.      Internet and this country.

  14.      Now that the politicians have failed to live up to the
  15.      Constitution our best hope lies with the courts. Let us hope that
  16.      the judges that hear the challenges to the CDA see it for what it
  17.      really is: political expediency at its worst!
  18.  
  19.      In the meantime, talk about the CDA to anyone who will listen.
  20.  
  21.      The future of the Internet as well as the future of freedom
  22.      depend on it!
